  • Medication in School

We understand that children sometimes need medication during the school day — including non‑prescribed medicines such as Calpol.

We are able to administer both prescribed and non‑prescribed medication, as long as the correct procedures are followed.

If your child needs medication in school:

    • The medication must be brought to the school office by an adult — children must not bring medication into school themselves.
    • All medication must be in its original container, with your child’s name and the dosage clearly marked.
    • You will be asked to complete a consent form, which must be signed before we can administer any medication.
    • We are unable to give any medication without written parental consent.

Thank you for helping us keep children safe while ensuring they receive the support they need during the school day.
