Keep up to date with events happening in school!
Like many other schools in the country we are experiencing problems with the Edenred Free School Meal voucher scheme. Please see below for an important update and information about what to do if you're having any difficulties:
E-mail Vouchers:
If you have given us your email address, you should by now have received 2 emails from Edenred (noreply@edenred.co.uk or hello@email.edenred.co.uk). Please also check spam and junk folders. These emails are for week commencing 20th April and 27th April, and contain the codes you need to be able to redeem your vouchers. We are aware some parents haven't received a code for last week. These codes have now been re-sent. Please re-check your emails and if nothing has come through please contact the school office who will take details. Unfortunately in this case our only option is to cancel the first voucher and order another for you. Some parents have also reported problems when trying to redeem the codes, where the code is not accepted. Again please telephone the office and let us know, we can cancel the code and reorder.
Postal Vouchers:
Codes for this week (commencing 27th April) still haven't been received by school. This is very frustrating for all concerned and we appreciate your patience while we wait for them to arrive. As soon as we receive the codes we will redeem the vouchers and post them out to you. Vouchers for last week were posted out on 21st April. If your child is not staying at their usual address please telephone the office and let us know as soon as possible, if you have not already done so.

Thank you for your continued patience while we work to try and get your vouchers to you.
Stay safe.
Dear Parents/Carers
Thanks for the positive comments, updates and patience regarding the national voucher scheme that launched this week. Everyone who is eligible should have received their vouchers for this week. If there’s an issue, please look at the user guide available here. If that doesn’t solve the problem, feel free to contact the office and we’ll try and rectify the situation. Staff in school have put a huge amount of work into setting this up in difficult circumstances; schools across the country have been trying to do the same thing at the same time! The next batch of vouchers for next week should be with you on or just after 27th April. Again, thanks for your patience and appreciation of the work that has gone in to organise this. We hope you’re all ok and staying safe.
Regards,
Mark Rogers
Headteacher
Dear Parents/Carers
I'm writing to give an update on the voucher scheme for those who are entitled to free school meals.
You may be aware that the Government and DfE have pointed us towards using a scheme set up to ensure you get vouchers that can be redeemed in local supermarkets. Nationally, there has been a huge demand on this service and, despite Barrowcliff staff working for 3 weeks to sort this out for our families, there are still issues in the provider getting the vouchers and codes to us. We are hopeful that they'll be ready for next week however I can't be certain that this will be the case.
Please bear with us while we continue to work with the provider to get the vouchers to you.
I'll update you next week as to where we are with the arrangements.
Hope you're all ok and staying safe.
Regards,
Mark Rogers
Headteacher.
