  • Annual Girls' Football Tournament

    Fri 15 Oct 2021

Last Saturday brought the opportunity for our Year 6 girls to compete in the annual Girls’ Football Tournament at Bramcote. Our girls played tremendously and represented Barrowcliff brilliantly, showing a great attitude and respect to other teams and officials.

In our group matches we played matches against Gladstone Road, Seamer, Lindhead, St Peters and Hertford Vale. We came across some strong opposition and although we didn’t manage to win a game, each game was close and the girls showed great resilience right until the final whistle. There were some brilliant performances in each game, so well done to all the girls: Lacy, Emily, Sophie, Millie, Isabelle, Amira, Lara and Rhianna.
