Exciting News! We’ve been chosen by the BBC to represent North Yorkshire schools for Children in Need this year! This will feature on BBC Look North, BBC Radio York, and potentially BBC1’s Children in Need show. It will be recorded on 5th November and broadcast on 19th November during the BBC Children in Need shows. We are all very excited!
Wreyfield Church will once again be offering free breakfasts on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the October half term and Christmas break, all are welcome!
Last Saturday brought the opportunity for our Year 6 girls to compete in the annual Girls’ Football Tournament at Bramcote. Our girls played tremendously and represented Barrowcliff brilliantly, showing a great attitude and respect to other teams and officials.
In our group matches we played matches against Gladstone Road, Seamer, Lindhead, St Peters and Hertford Vale. We came across some strong opposition and although we didn’t manage to win a game, each game was close and the girls showed great resilience right until the final whistle. There were some brilliant performances in each game, so well done to all the girls: Lacy, Emily, Sophie, Millie, Isabelle, Amira, Lara and Rhianna.
What a fantastic Harvest Festival! Thank you to everyone for your generous donations. We are proud to support The Rainbow Centre who have collected all tins & packets ready for the food bank. They pass on their appreciation and assure you that it will make such a difference to many families within the locality.
