  • 23/11/2020 - PLEASE BE AWARE

    Mon 23 Nov 2020
Please be aware that one of our pupils was approached after school on Monday by someone in a car they didn't know and was asked about an Xbox. The pupil in question acted appropriately, didn't engage with the stranger and went to a known adult immediately. The police are now dealing with the matter. If you have any information regarding this, we can direct you to the appropriate officer. Please reinforce the message about not talking to strangers and how to stay safe when out and about. Please also ensure that your children know that if approached, they should let a trusted adult, either at home or school, know immediately. We'll reinforce this in class tomorrow.
  • Single Positive Case of Covid-19 - Classes 5 and 11

    Thu 19 Nov 2020

We have received confirmation of positive cases of Covid-19 in Class 5 and Class 11.  All pupils who need to self-isolate have been informed and a letter has been sent home with the children (Class 11) or will be delivered home today (Class 5).

The return to school date on each letter is 14 days from the last time your child had contact with the confirmed positive case.  If your child develops symptoms of Covid-19, you must follow the instructions in the letter.  If your child tests positive for Covid-19, you must inform us immediately so appropriate action can be taken to protect other children and members of staff in school.

Children who have been sent home to self-isolate and are on free school meals are eligible to receive a food parcel.  Our catering team are working hard to ensure that families receive these as soon as possible after being told to isolate, and we will deliver them to your door as soon as we can.

Home Learning is available on the website, please click the links on the home page.  If your child does not have access to a laptop or the internet, please let us know and we will arrange for a learning pack to be delivered to you.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
