The PCSOs came to talk to Y6 on the theme of 'No More Knives'.
Year 6 spent the day learning about Ancient Islamic Civilisation with John Conyard from Historical Interpretations. The pupils got to look at artefacts, considering what they were made of and their purpose. They used quill pens to copy Arabic writing. They learned about ancient Islamic medicine and the weapons and armours used by the Mongol army.
There will be further industrial action by teaching unions on Thursday 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May. Please be aware that Class 3 and Class 4 will be closed to pupils on those days. All other classes will be operating, and siblings of children in those classes are expected to be in school.
