Class 8 are working with Kane Cunningham. He is an abstract landscape artist. Watch the video to see him in action!
We started the day by finding out about Kane and his work as an artist. He told us how he became an artist and where he takes his inspiration from. We looked at the tools he uses to create his wonderful art work.
Mark Making - Letting our imaginations run wild! We looked for emerging pictures that might tell a story about our lives.
We went outside to look for materials to paint with. We collected soil, grass, berries, leaves and moss to use. Kane showed us how to use these on our paintings.
Adding detail to our artwork using paint and charcoal. We took our inspiration from pictures of the coastline.
