❄️ SCHOOL IS OPEN AS NORMAL TOMORROW ❄️

We are planning to be open as normal tomorrow.

Following the recent snowfall, Mr Rogers and our new caretaker, Mr Taylor, have worked extremely hard to clear and grit key areas of the school site so that the site is safe for children and staff.  

We have carried out the necessary site risk assessments, and we are satisfied that the school grounds can be opened safely.

The Hatterboard Drive gate onto the junior playground will not be in use.  Junior children will need to enter school via the Ash Grove gates.  The nursery and infant entrance is open as normal.

We recognise that travel conditions may still be challenging. Most families live within a reasonable walking distance of school however, public footpaths and some roads may remain icy, which is outside of the school’s control.

As always:
• Parents and carers should make their own decisions about travel safety
• Children should wear appropriate footwear and warm clothing
• Please allow extra time and take care when travelling

At this point, the expectation is that children will attend school as normal.

If conditions change significantly overnight, we will update families accordingly. Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow.
